SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – March 25, 2022 – SI Group, a global leader in the innovative technology of performance additives, announced today a price increase for all products sold into the plastics industry of up to 25% depending on the product line and region. The price increase is effective April 1, 2022, or as contracts allow.
The price increase is in response to changing market conditions and is required to ensure SI Group can continue to deliver high-quality additive solutions and security of supply to its customers. “We’re committed to providing our customers with innovative additives for plastics. Although the market is currently facing inflation and rising energy, freight, and transportation costs, we are focused on providing value to our customers. Raising prices on these SI Group products will enable us to deliver on our brand promise,” Chuck Reardon, Vice President Plastics Solutions, commented.
SI Group’s sales representatives will communicate new pricing information with existing customers for all affected products.
