We have set our goal at zero negative impact on people, the environment, and our reputation. We will measure our success using globally recognized criteria developed by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers' (AIChE) Center for Chemical Process Safety. We are setting the bar high to meet this goal in our worldwide operations.

We inspect every critical step in our manufacturing processes and every vital piece of equipment in our plants, and we strive to protect everyone whose life is touched by our products on a daily basis–including those who make, transport, buy, use and handle our materials. Sites are regularly reviewed for goal performance and new goals are established on an annual basis to continually improve our operations. We strive for continual improvement of our manufacturing capabilities and people to improve the communities where we live and operate.

We believe that reporting EHSS information is part of our responsibility to respond to community concerns by allowing a better public understanding of our operations. We take pride in sharing our many efforts to provide a safe and healthy workplace and community.

Utilizing the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards, we have put context around our sustainability approach for our company, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders in our 2022 Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) Report.

We are serious about environmental and safety compliance. The distribution of accurate and reliable product documentation that satisfies global regulatory and compliance requirements is critical to product delivery to our global customers.

The requirements of REACH for products marketed in the European Union and country-by-country implementation of the Globally Harmonized System for Classification and Labeling (GHS) impose new requirements for detailed, region-specific documentation.

SI Group has continued to invest in upgrades of our Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring system to support global regulatory compliance through the creation and maintenance of reliable hazard communication documentation.
