SCHENECTADY, NY – November 14, 2014 – SI Group, Inc. announced plans today to expand Biphenol capacity in its Newport, Tennessee facility in the United States. The expansion will increase production by 1,000 metric tons per year starting in the first quarter of 2015. This expansion follows the 3,000 metric tons per year expansion in 2011 at the same facility. Another expansion of 1,000 metric tons per year is also being evaluated by the company for implementation in 2016/17.
