ELAZTOBOND™ B8-3410

ELAZTOBOND™ B8-3410 is a resorcinol-free novolac resin with high renewable organic content intended for use in rubber to metal adhesion. Used in combination with methylene donor such as HMT or HMMM it provides superior bonding of rubber compounds to non-rubber parts: fibers, fabrics and metals of the finished article. The resorcinol free bonding resin provides superior, longstanding adhesion of vulcanized rubber to steel and textile cords in tires, belting, and hose applications; thus enabling safe and efficient performance. Due to low free monomer content, no fumes generation, and being produced from renewable organic content, this resin is a safer and more sustainable choice for handling, compounding and rubber vulcanization processes.
