SP-1045P
SP-1045P is a reactive alkylphenol resin and is supplied in pastille form. SP-1045P resin cures butyl rubber. Because of its versatility and inherent ozone resistance, it has been employed in many areas including tire curing bladders, conveyor belts, gaskets, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and heat-resistant packing compounds. In addition, these vulcanizates are non-blooming, non-staining, and have high modulus values. SP-1045P resin can be used in inks, paints, and coatings.
