SP-1055
SP-1055 is a reactive brominated alkylphenolic resin with methylol groups used to cure rubber. The use of brominated resins in compounding is especially effective when the rubber may be exposed to heat or repeated use. Rubbers compounded with SP-1055 exhibit exceptional scorch safety, high-temperature stability, and excellent dynamic properties. SP-1055 resin can be used to cure rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesives (masking, duct, splicing tapes, etc.).
